Tennis enthusiasts rejoice! With the return of both the Wimbledon and U.S. Open championships this summer, the sport is alive and well, and quite frankly, so is the style. Tennis, anyone? This time last year, the white tennis skirt’s status as a summer staple was a sure sign that we were dressing for the events we were missing. For those continuing to celebrate the sport from home, the classic tennis skirt remains to be the activewear of choice over our wardrobe’s traditional summer workout attire––just ask the crowd of influencers posing courtside in white tennis skirts and filling our Instagram feeds. Consider pairing a classic pleated silhouette by Tory Burch with an oversized rugby polo or a ’90s-inspired pullover for a vintage varsity look.
