“Addison Bay was born from the idea that activewear should go beyond the gym and where fashion forward doesn’t mean less function. We launched in 2018 with the mission of being the destination for stylish activewear that can be worn from 7am to 7pm.
When naming the company, I wanted to highlight two special places that I felt truly embodied the vision of Addison Bay. Enter: Avalon, New Jersey. Did you know? The Bay from Addison Bay came from swimming in the bay on 7th street in the 08202. We’ve shipped to all 50 states in the US but our roots are, and will always be, on the seven mile island.
It’s not surprising that we opened our first brick and mortar in Avalon and that we are launching our first Summer capsule, designed for your active day on the island, and perfectly named Happy Place. Avalon is my happy place and I’m excited to share the collection with so many of our customers that spend their Summer in their very own happy place.”
